Guess who's back with a fun-filled post ahead?! Firstly, I just wanted to apologise PROFUSELY for never actually taking the time to clean up my blog and fix the layout and everything. I'm saying sorry because it looks like a mess and if I were you all I'd get sick of having to looking at it in the state it's in.. however, that being said, I don't plan to change it because I just can't find a single bone in my body that can be bothered and I just ugh okay have this photo of Liam as a little kid to make up for it

Moving on! Plenty has happened since the last time I posted properly, which feels like so long ago, and something that I never got around to blogging about was where Molly & I took Sandy as a surprise for her birthday! After weeks of tormenting her and giving her very subtle but also very obvious clues (which didn't even help her because she's a fucking dumbass), we took little miss spoilt to the set of her favourite TV show - The Project! For those of you who haven't heard of or don't know it, it's an Aussie "infotainment" show that broadcasts news in a fun way, hosted by media personalities/comedians. 

One of the hosts on the panel, Charlie Pickering, is Sandy's idol.. so it's safe to say she enjoyed herself. GREATLY. The ride there was hilarious because we made her close her eyes the entire journey up until we got to the waiting room just before the studio, where Charlie walked past and she began to hyperventilate. The usual. Anyway, here's a photo of her with the hosts on the panel for that day:

Okay before I tell you all about what I got to experience last week, I'll just remind you that I love Little Mix a lot a lot alot and how Jade Thirlwall is my ULTIMATE idol. Like, ultimate times a hundred. I'm sure you already know where I'm going with this but long story short, I entered a competition to meet them + ask a question and watch an intimate performance, did it about 35+ times and WON. You don't understand though. I never win anything. Nothing this big. Ever. So when I got the phone call telling me I'd won, I deafened the whole of Footscray. I was in complete shock right up until the day came and the girls walked into the room. I'm just going to post the photo I took with them and dot point what happened because I can't even put it into a coherent sentence I JUST UGH I MET MY IDOLS AND ;SADKJFLSJS;LKFJ

  • I WAS FRONT ROW AND WE WERE SO CLOSE TO THEM
  • The girls performed their cover of We Are Young by fun. and I started crying AND JADE!!!, PERRIE, LEIGH-ANNE ALL LOOKED AT ME AT ONE POINT WHILE I WAS CRYING AND SMILED I CAN'T
  • I cried
  • I cried a little more
  • They did the fan Q&A, I stood up to ask my winning question and JADE TOLD ME SHE LIKED MY BOW and I collapsed
  • I didn't really but my heart did
  • I love you Jade
  • After the Q&A they performed Wings WHICH WAS JUST BEAUTIFUL AND COMPLETELY FLAWLESS DO YOU KNOW THOSE BANDS/SINGERS THAT SOUND BETTER LIVE THAN IN STUDIO WELL THAT'S THEM OKAY
  • After that we all went up with our plus ones to take photos
  • I went to Jade and started crying oh my god and said something along the lines of "I'm so sorry if I start crying but I just wanted to tell you that you're my biggest role model/idol and I love you so much" AND SHE WAS LIKE "AWWWW THANK YOU" AND GAVE ME THE LONGEST CUDDLE EVER EVER EVER

  • She smelled like hair dye and I liked it because just because
  • After we took our photo I hugged each of them and when I was walking out Perrie was like "AW" and I was seriously considering handcuffing myself to her
  • OH AND I GAVE JADE MY FRIENDSHIP BRACELET SO I REALLY FREAKIN HOPE SHE WEARS IT AND SOMEONE TAKES A PHOTO SO YOU CAN SEE IT ON HER WRIST
  • AND THAT'S BASICALLY IT IT WAS THE BESTEST DAY EVER 

I think I'm quite done. It was so overwhelming because someone like me just doesn't win these kind of things and never in my life have I ever expected to be able to experience something like this. It was definitely a day and memory that I'll never forget and I'll always feel grateful towards The Hot Hits for giving me this opportunity. I've seen my boys in the flesh, I've met my girls. I can die happy.

After all of this, I took a little trip to Lush to get some bath bombs (standard) so I could jump into the bath and relax after a long day of being an extremely emotional fangirl. I decided to use the yuzu & cocoa bubbleroon instead of the Dragon's Egg because I was in the mood for a bubble bath. We all have those days.


Unfortunately, I'm assuming it's because my bath is quite big, there were little to no bubbles.. :(. Sad times. I did read a few reviews though and almost all of the complaints were about the lack of bubbles so it might have also been the bubbleroon itself. Nevertheless, it was comforting, moisturising and the perfect end to the perfect day. AND IT SMELLED GREAT. I've become a Lush enthusiast, just so y'all know.

Anyway, moving on from that wonderful day.. my formal dress arrived yesterday! I've gone through hell for this dress so when it finally came I could have cried.


Thoughts? I love everything about it except the high neckline but I don't even want to think about complaining because it costed my soul and the blood of my enemies. 

And just in case some of you are thinking, 'looks a bit weird..' (rude! Just kidding, each to their own), have a look at it actually ON (the model/'designer'. Not me. I don't look half as good):


If you still don't like it, well.. I tried. Like I said, each to their own!

How's that for a come-back post? Tad long. Just a tad. I've missed blogging and have probably picked the worst time to start again since exams start in just under 3 weeks but why the hell not? If you stuck around and you're still reading despite my inconsistent posting habits, I really, really, really love you.
