Tout à propos de la chevelure

Morning everyone! Well, afternoon.

It's nice and sunny out which makes me veddy happy. I doubt the weather itself is warm but at least it's not raining, right? God, I miss Summer.

Firstly, I want to show you all this freaking gorgeous dress that I stumbled across on Tumblr yesterday:

Anyway, as my title suggests, this post is going to be about my hair.. I don't know why. It just will be. I think it's because I haven't really posted a proper picture of my hair colour anywhere and it's probably time to since it's faded so much. Cry.

I dyed my hair a while ago and I asked for a purply-red colour like Jade's hair (I LOVE HER OKAY) and well.. it came out more red. I never got a proper photo of it since you can only see the actual colour in the sun. In photos it just comes out as red or orange or brown and just nOT RED-PURPLE.

Life's ruff.

It was quite an exciting time for me since I've never coloured my hair before and the colour itself was pretty out there. I wanted to do something a little crazy and drastic this year but nothing TOO wild so dying my locks was a pretty good compromise.

So here's a photo that I took like an hour after it was done:

I'm aware that it looks SUPER red.. I was a little shocked. And disappointed that the purple didn't come out very much but what can ya do? Apparently it came out in the sun though so all is well!

Please know that my hair is actually much healthier than it looks here.. it was a mutual decision for it look like this on that day. Please respect that.

My hair went from all of that.. to this:

..It didn't go from straight to curly. Obviously.. I curled it yesterday for absolutely no reason because that's how depressing my life is TXT IT

This makes me miss my long hair. So, so much.

But anyway it's faded into a dark-ish brown which is my natural hair colour anyway (I'm not Asian, okay?) BUT I'm going to dye it again in July so I get the purple that I wanted. PURPLE, DAMN IT. P U R P L E.

So there you go. This is as exciting as my life gets.
