Hi dearies!

How is everyone? Hopefully no one's too sick at the moment. This weather is seriously doing something. Melbourne winters are just as intense as our summers, but obviously I prefer the latter. I'm currently STILL coughing, so much so that I've woken up a few times in the middle of the night just to have a freaking coughing attack, but it's getting better. Recovery is painful. So close, yet so far.. uGH.

So on Friday night, as it was Sandy's birthday, I soldiered on and went to her birthday dinner, which was wonderful. I got such a warm welcome back and so many "I missed you!"'s. I've missed my friends a hell of a lot!

It was at Lazy Moes and the food was pretty bloody great. Ngl though, the highlight of my night was my lemon & lime bitters.. oh my god. ONE CANNOT BEGIN TO DESCRIBE THE LEMON AND LIME BITTERS FROM LAZY MOES. Apart from the fact that I spilled some of it all over myself because it was so full, I. loved. it. I'm definitely coming back. Not just for the drink, but for everything. I loved the vibe it had.

And that was the most exciting Friday night I've had in a while. Cheers, Sandy.

Okay, so. I started reading 50 Shades of Grey. NOW BEFORE YOU GET YOUR JUDGY FACES ON AND GO ALL WIDE EYED AT ME, IT WAS COMPLETELY OUT OF CURIOSITY AND FRUSTRATION. You're still giving me this face, aren't you?

God I want to punch his face but kiss it at the same time.
Am I the only one with this problem? Yes? K.

Not sexual frustration though. My god. There's just such a big deal over it and I wanted to see what the fuss was about. But all is well because I got bored by page 40-something and I re-watched random episodes of The Office instead.

The world can start spinning again.

Lastly, I want to send my condolences and thoughts to one of my best friends, Sandy (N), who's grieving at the moment. I know exactly the feeling because I went through it when I was 12 and, well, it was a lot to deal with. Lots and lots and lots of love to my other third. x

Well would ya look at that! I didn't swear once in this post! I think this calls for a Tim Tam.
